What music do you think fits different elements of 40k?

I'll give an example: Linkin Park > No More Sorrow - Horus' Fall (Listen to the lyrics)

run with the wolves, the prodigy Flesh hounds of khorne on the hunt

Freedom fighters -Two steps from hell

other amazing themes:
Heart of courage - two steps from hell
Heoric assault - Steven jablonsky
Star trek - Michael Giacchino

Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out, from 50 seconds in.
Would suit a fast planet landing by such armies as guard or marines

i would happily murder you for even suggesting franz ferdinand

Shinedown - Diamond Eyes (or) Sound of Madness
Pendulum - The Tempest

These are all good songs, but barely any of you are saying what referance they have to different elements of the game; you're just posting up your favourite songs.

It doesn't fit the atmosphere at all. I'm sorry, but pop rock and 40k don't mix well.

Shinedown - Diamond Eyes (Just like a Spec Ops, badass guard unit theme song) (or) Sound of Madness (Listen and find out. It fits soo well)
Pendulum - The Tempest (Sounds slightly Herioc and inspiring, could be used for a Marine squad)

Jake, i highly recommend you listen to two steps from hell, they specialisein trailer music, the theme tuneto mass effect 2 was done by them, they helped out in the star wars and star trek, 300, troy and many more.
Their music woud be amazing for the heroic moments, the impossibe odds but still fighting. Steven did music for transformers and gears of war, the rush of adrenaline is emmense from his music.
