Which Assassin Temple sorts out the best killing, in the best ways?
The Assassin Temples
So, there are 5 well-known kinds of assassins and they all carry out their death dealing in different ways. So, the question i pose to you is, which do you think is the most effective and practical temple?

Re: The Assassin Temples
The Vindicare temple are practical as they are highly adept at long range kills, waiting paitently for their target to reveal themselves. They also will able to take out the target at close range if nessercary.

Re: The Assassin Temples
I prefer the Calexus, the idea of a soulless figure running around the field is so awesome.firenze wrote:The Vindicare temple are practical as they are highly adept at long range kills, waiting paitently for their target to reveal themselves. most people haven't heard of them - not quite as extensive as the others, but vote for them if you wish
I'd say eversor are the most effective - they are simply utterly monstrous heartless killers - everything u need in an assassin
Re: The Assassin Temples
Actually, Michael, these were mentioned as Assassin Temple Masters in Nemesis, and as such are a consistent part of the fluff and considered canon as such.Jericho wrote:Skirax wrote:You missed out the following:

Re: The Assassin Temples
i was torn between eversor and culexus, since as brutal and vicious as eversors are, the culexus are the ultimate psyker-killers.
Re: The Assassin Temples
Culexus are a one trick pony.

Re: The Assassin Temples
yes, however they are utterly invisible to daemons making them very effective against chaos forces.
Re: The Assassin Temples
Callidus assasin is my favourite. I can't help but imagine them to be the TF2 Spy.
In the middle of battle they whip off their paper mask, shout peakaboo! Then proceed to backstab the enemy HQ.

Death cults aren't part of the Officio Assassinorum per se, so they don't come from any temples. Rather, death cults are extremist sects from the imperial cult.
Read about them Here
Re: The Assassin Temples
Actually Michael, every Chaos Warlord/Herald has something which reveals the Calexus Assassin, as they invisible to 'Psykers' not 'Daemons'. They have a shadow in the warp, but so do Tyranids.

Re: The Assassin Temples
Culexus assassins have no presence in the warp at all due to their pariah gene - they have no souls, unlike others. To purely psychic entities such as daemons, they are invisible - as daemons see souls rather than the beings themselves. To psykers such as eldar and librarians they have a very unnerving and sickening presence. More powerful Culexus assassins have been known to kill psykers merely by being too near them. Psykers and normal beings can see the Culexus, but psykers are severely weakened by them.
