Re: Ultramarines
Yeah, congratulations, you destroyed a Newby, destroyed his self-confidence and probably put him off of playing for a few weeks.
Ultramarine's don't always win; the Defence of the Polar Fortresses was a distaster. You know the old saying, 'If we're doomed, let's take as many down with us as possble'? Doesn't matter with the 'Nids; they just keep coming. The Terminators stood their ground, holding them back, and yet they still failed. The Chapter justified it by saying, 'We put a dent in the Hive Fleet', and about a second after reading it, everyone went 'No you didn't, they harvested their dead and moved on'.

Re: Ultramarines
The Ultramarines, are a stalwart and highly experienced chapter, and many of the people I have seen play them are veterans of the hobby, most new people go for other chapters (Most I've seen are Crimson Fists).

Re: Ultramarines
I dont like ultramarines simply because of the fluff and the amount that play them, it gets rather dull. And maccrage, ultramarines lost that quite arguably, they may say they made a dent in the hive fleet, but the hive fleet took a chunk out of the ultramarines.

Re: Ultramarines
And even though the Ultramarines killed more things, if you look at percentages, they lost by atleast 55%

So you're repeating a lot of stuff that I said, and then you're refuting a lot of proven stuff.Wills wrote:I dont like ultramarines simply because of the fluff and the amount that play them, it gets rather dull. People don’t play the Ultramarines because of the flak they get for it, and I already said the stuff about the Battle for Macragge.

Trust me, not many people play Ultras. I can count the people I met who play Ultras on my hands. And that is in 8 years of playing the game

Re: Ultramarines
Ha ha. Watch it fool. (yeah, Im excited about A-team. So what)
Seriously, there isn't many players at all. There are more Imperial Fist players on the Bolter and Chainsword than Ultramarine Players.

Re: Ultramarines
Ah Zak your ignorance is bliss They have had Imperial Fists for ages, the Dornian Heresy was only really released a few weeks ago.
Re: Ultramarines
Yes Jake, a few weeks for Nerds to spend cash on Imperial Fists Armys for the Dornian Heresy. Are you honestly going to say there isn't atleast several more Imperial fist players on B&C since the Dornian Heresy was realised.

Re: Ultramarines
I am, because there isn't. The only Dornian Heresy army that people have started playing is the Ultramarines, and that's because, in the DH, they're uber-badass.
Re: Ultramarines
I wonder if the ultramarines themselves know that they are hated and
cry at night?
