So what exactly is happening with this Inquisitor thing at the Wednesday club then? Tom/Zak/Ben/Others?

Re: Inquisitor
When everyone's warband is done, then we can begin. Marines (if used) have to be truescaled, and all models painted. I'm going to take photos and battle reports.

Re: Inquisitor
Your warband can be anything up to 1000pts. Depending on your style it could be a few elite models or a swarm of lesser ones.

Re: Inquisitor
So if its not marines, it doesn't need to be truescale?

Re: Inquisitor
If it isn't marines, it's already to scale Marines are way out of scale in the game. So:
All SPACE MARINES will have to be truescaled.
You will need to know the rules for Inquisitor, or at least have a basic grasp.
Warbands can be up to 1000pts. No aliens however ( no tau, eldar, orks .etc.)
Make up some background for them too - why they are on the hive world, and what each character's personality is like (play like you are that character)

The same here. I have some very cool characters, and some very nice ideas for models

Re: Inquisitor
The hive world has been at war for the past 100 years, the conflict having only just ended. Slums are beginning to form in the ruins of the city outskirts, with mutants, theives and traitors taking up root in these filthy areas. Your warband has to have a good reason to be on the world (eg. PDF group patrol, AdMech looking for an artifact lost in the war, Marines looking for a stolen relic).
Xenos aren't included because for one - there are no rules for them; and two - it won't fit the story I have planned
I also forgot to mention - Each warband's points total is limited to 1000pts. I will allow for about 5% leeway though.

Re: Inquisitor
Coolio sounds good.
Will we need to write fluff concerning why loyalists are fighting loyalists etc?

Re: Inquisitor
Ok guys, I can get involved, but only if someone gives me a quick guide on how to make rules etc.
Re: Inquisitor

Re: Inquisitor
*DDDUDDUUUUUUHHHHHHH* I wouldn't have said anything otherwise. From what I remember, Ben and Tom don't get there till roughly 7:30ish, and my course finishes at 7, and it's only at the college so I can get over very quickly.
Re: Inquisitor
Well, there is no easy way around it. just read it.

Re: Inquisitor
We will be doing a sort of preview game to get everyone used to the rules of playing ( I still need to. ) so don't worry if your not aquianted with them. This one will only be about 300ish points, so you will only have a small warband to use.
Remember, try not to make characters that can eat a building full of enemies alone. Be sensible too. Injuries will carry over into the next game (you can attempt a few toughness tests to recover them) and so will lack of ammunition (thats why my men have stupid amounts of ammo )
Here are the forces at the moment:
Me- Knights Griffon Space Marine unit: Sergeant, Heavy weapons trooper, sharpshooter - Looking for a lost relic of the Griffons that was handed to them at their founding.
Splinter- AdMech High priest and entourage: High techpriest, acolyte, arco flagellant, servitors - (not sure on story yet)
Z.A.F.T -( no idea)
Azron -(no idea)
Skirax - (no idea)
Post up you warbands. I need to know what we are all using and tweak the story accordingly.

Re: Inquisitor
I will make the biggest effort to come;
Team Skirax - PDF detachment, gone rogue, led by Hichter von Riesig, old commander that watched his own brother be torn apart at the hands of a rogue AdMech servitor. Now has a permanent and undying hatred for machines. Leading a small warband.

Re: Inquisitor
The idea of mine is an organization that was sent here to get a relic, and destroy everyone that gets in there way.
More detailed fluff in progress atm.

Re: Inquisitor
Team Azron - 4x Verineus Assassins, stranded after completing an assassination on the planet, and being informed that their home planet was under attack and no ship was being sent to collect them.
