Imperial fists

If you were to paint imperial fists, would you use desert yellow? I'm wondering because I am confused as to what colour they are painted in.

Desert yellow is actually slightly green. If i were to paint them, i'd use bad moon yellow

Well, looking at the piccies on GW I thought it was desert yellow.....

You know my Space Wolf shoulderpads that are yellow? That's the kind of yellow you want.
Paint a black base with a Bubonic Brown undercoat, then paint Bad Moon Yellow over the top. Use Badab Black to tone down the (now) bright yellow colour you'll have.

Bubonic? I would have used Iyanden Darsksun as it is a foundation paint. Then coated (thinly I might add) a couple of layers of bad moon or golden yellow.
